Latin Lover

Suzanne is Professor of Latin American and Latina/o Studies at John Jay College of the City University of New York. She is Founding Editor of the academic journal, Latino Studies. Her research centers on human rights with a focus on Latino immigrant incarceration, and on race, immigration and belonging in the Americas. She is the author of Ethnic Labels, Latino Lives: Identity and the Politics of (Re)Presentation in the United States.
